Lunewick is a game made by Ember Pocket. This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and what you can do about it. Questions or requests: support@tinylantern.app.
What Lunewick collects
Your game progress. Your save (your shop, potions, books, outfits, friendships and the like) is stored on your phone. So that it is not lost, the game also keeps a copy online on our own server, which runs on Cloudflare and stores your save in the European Union. To do that it creates an anonymous account for this installation: no name, email or other personal detail is needed for it.
Your email address, only if you choose to give it. “Keep this save” asks for an email address so you can restore your progress on another phone. We send a one-time code to that address, through our email provider Resend, to confirm it, and use it only to link your save to you. We do not send you marketing emails.
Purchases. Gem packs are bought through Google Play. Google handles the payment; we never see your card or payment details. The game stores a purchase reference from Google in your save so a purchase is never granted twice or lost.
Ads, only when you choose to watch one. Lunewick can show a short video ad when you tap Watch for a reward, such as a few gems or a doubled sale. There are no other ads. These ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure them, and to prevent fraud, AdMob collects your device’s advertising ID and other device identifiers, how you interact with the ad, diagnostic information, and your approximate location from your IP address. In the EU, EEA and UK, Google asks for your consent the first time you tap Watch; you can change your choice at any time in Settings, Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s settings. How Google uses this information: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
What Lunewick does not do
- No banner ads, and no ads you did not choose to watch.
- No analytics, tracking or crash-reporting services of our own.
- No selling of your information. It is shared only with the services named above that run the game: Cloudflare (the online save copy), Resend (the email code), Google AdMob (the ads you choose to watch) and Google Play (purchases). Test versions of the game used Supabase for the online copy; those copies are deleted when testing ends.
How long it is kept, and your choices
Your online save copy and email address are kept while you play and for as long as you might want to restore your progress. You can delete it yourself at any time (see below). To see or correct it, email support@tinylantern.app; we will reply within 30 days. Uninstalling the game removes everything stored on your phone.
If you are in the EU, EEA or UK, you also have the right to object to or restrict how your information is used and to complain to your data protection authority (in Denmark, Datatilsynet).
Delete your account and data
You can delete everything yourself, straight away, in either of two ways:
- In the game: Settings, then Delete my data.
- On the web, if the game is no longer installed: www.emberpocketgames.com/lunewick/delete. Type the email address you kept your save with, then the code we send to it.
This deletes your online save copy, its backup and your email address at once. Nothing is kept afterwards. Purchase records held by Google Play are Google’s and are not affected. If you never kept your save with an email address, your online copy is anonymous and is not linked to you; deleting it in the game, or uninstalling, is all there is to do.
Children
Lunewick is intended for players aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
